Meet the Artist

Born and raised in beautiful upstate New York , Mark Beeler’s love of nature and the great outdoors began at an early age while exploring the Pine Bush area where he lived with his childhood friends.  His love of nature deepened and grew as he spent each summer at the family camp on Myosotis Lake , a small gem of a lake in a rural woodland setting.   He spent many hours on the lake and roaming around the woods at camp observing and exploring the natural beauty surrounding him.

Self-taught, Mark finds a beautiful picture in almost anything others may find quite ordinary.  His subject matter includes nature and wildlife, as well as textures, still life and “Norman Rockwell” type settings.  Mark strives to present the images he has captured the way he witnessed them in order to share with others the beauty he sees through his camera lens.

Always the "artistic type", Mark's main career has been as a carpenter and fine wood worker, while he continued to perfect his style of photography through his hobby.

Now, Mark and his wife, Judi, are pursuing their dream of combining their mutual love of the outdoors, Mark's natural ability as an artist and photographer with Judi's experience in business to create and operate the fine art photography business. Mill Valley Photo Art.

They invite you to join them in exploring the great outdoors through the images captured in a moment in time.
